 After
a successful career which included Broadway and off Broadway
roles (Auntie Mame, Rogers and Hammerstein's Flower
Drum Song, Tennessee Williams In The Bar of a Tokyo
Hotel) and stints on several soap operas including a year
on the Edge of Night, Jon began a twenty five year
run as one of the most prolific spokesperson in the history
of radio and TV commercials.
He
has been heard on over 50,000 commercials both here and around
the world (Pizza Hut,
Chrysler, AT&T, and many more), winning accolades with Clios
and Mobius Awards. But to many viewers of cable TV he remains
the voice of the Swamp Thing now in syndication.
Recently
Jon has had critically acclaimed lead appearances in the Off-Broadway
productions of Arthur and Leila and Dog and His
Master. A native New Yorker Jon attended St. John's College
and NYU, he is the father of two grown sons and lives in Fairfield
County, Connecticut.
